ROSELYN SANCHEZ

Rose­lyn Sanchez (born April 2, 1973) is a Puerto Rican singer, model, and actress of film and tele­vi­sion. Sanchez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico, she gained pub­lic atten­tion as a dancer and as co-host of a vari­ety show called Que Vac­ilon. Sanchez won the Miss Puerto Rico Petite con­test, and in 1994 she won the inter­na­tional title of Miss Amer­i­can Petite, bring­ing her inter­na­tional fame. Also in the fall of 2005, she joined the cast of the tele­vi­sion series With­out a Trace, where she plays Agent Elena Del­gado. She com­posed the musi­cal Yel­low, about a singer/dancer/actress who leaves Puerto Rico to hit the big time in New York, in which she played the prin­ci­pal part. JOYCE GIRAUD

Joyce born (Joyce Marie Giraud Mojica) on April 4, 1975 in Aguas Bue­nas, Puerto Rico. She was crowned with the title of Miss Puerto Rico Uni­verse 1998, and was the sec­ond runner-up at the 1998 Miss Uni­verse Pageant. She was also run­ning a mod­el­ing acad­emy in Puerto rico. she guest starred on the show Bay­watch. Cur­rently she is a cast mem­ber of the hit TV series (House of Payne) Play­ing the role of Angel one of the fire­fight­ers. She is cur­rently liv­ing in Los Ange­les, Cal­i­for­nia.

I was read­ing some arti­cle on the wikipedia site and found out some infor­ma­tion that i did not know but also not sure if the infor­ma­tion is accu­rate. This arti­cle said that Beni­cio Del Toro is Puerto Rican. It also said that Beni­cio Mon­ser­rate Rafael del Toro Sánchez (born Feb­ru­ary 19, 1967 is a Puerto Rican actor and film pro­ducer. Beni­cio del Toro was born and grew up in San­turce, Puerto Rico, a dis­trict of San Juan. He is the son of Gus­tavo Adolfo del Toro Bermudez and Fausta Gen­oveva Sanchez Rivera, who were both lawyers. He is of Span­ish and Ital­ian ances­try. He has an older brother, Gus­tavo, who is a pedi­atric oncol­o­gist. Del Toro’s child­hood nick­names were “Skinny Benny” and “Beno”. Does any­one know if this infor­ma­tion is really true?

Audrey Puente (born March 3, 1970) is a Puerto Rican Amer­i­can mete­o­rol­o­gist for WWOR-TV (MY 9) in New York City. She is the daugh­ter of leg­endary Latin per­cus­sion­ist Tito Puente. Puente replaced ten year WWOR mete­o­rol­o­gist Storm Field in Jan­u­ary 2007 as the newest full time weath­er­per­son. Puente pro­vides fore­casts for the station’s “My9 News at Ten.” She pre­vi­ously pro­vided weather fore­casts for CBS’ Chan­nel 2 News This Morn­ing and CBS 2 News at Noon. She cel­e­brated her 30^th birth­day at a club on March 2, 2000 with her father Tito Puente. She wed Jay Thomp­son on Sep­tem­ber 18, 2004 after which hav­ing her first child, a daugh­ter, is named San­tana. On June 8^th of that year she gave birth to a son, Mateo Jay Thomp­son. Puente is a mem­ber of the National Asso­ci­a­tion of His­panic Jour­nal­ists, the Amer­i­can Mete­o­ro­log­i­cal Soci­ety and the National Weather Asso­ci­a­tion. Puente is a grad­u­ate of Syra­cuse Uni­ver­sity, where she received a B.S. in Speech Com­mu­ni­ca­tions. She received her M.S. in Geo­sciences with an empha­sis on mete­o­rol­ogy from Mis­sis­sippi State Uni­ver­sity. She is a New York native and still resides in her hometown.
